Welcome to the TIAA-CREF career site and candidate profile system (the "Career Site"). Privacy Statement

TIAA-CREF will handle the Candidate Information obtained through the Career Site in accordance with applicable law. Candidate Information is defined as any information about you provided through the Career Site as part of your job application to TIAA-CREF. Candidate Information may be accessed and processed by TIAA-CREF employees and agents involved in talent acquisition for TIAA-CREF who have a legitimate business need to know Candidate information will be used for TIAA-CREF's legitimate business purposes in connection with the job application process, sending announcements of future job opportunities as they become available or for compliance or administrative purposes. TIAA-CREF is committed to taking appropriate measures to protect Candidate Information against unauthorized access, processing, handling or destruction.

 

By entering data in the Career Site, you confirm your understanding that TIAA-CREF may share your Candidate Information with vendors who are involved in the selection process, such as those that verify employment. Further, you authorize TIAA-CREF to share the personal information provided on the site with outside vendors to conduct a background check and verification of the information provided. You authorize applicable corporations, companies, credit agencies, educational institutions, persons, law enforcement agencies, criminal, civil, and federal courts and former employers to disclose information that such entities may have about you that is relevant to your job application. You release them from any liability and responsibility from doing so. However, you understand that your present employer will ordinarily not be contacted until after you accept an offer of employment with TIAA-CREF (if an offer is extended).

 

Except as described in this Privacy Statement, TIAA-CREF will not trade, sell or share the Candidate Information provided through this Career Site to other companies without your consent unless required by law. You understand that you may review your Candidate Information entered through the Career Site, as well as correct and update your personal information by contacting TIAA-CREF Talent Acquisition Department at TalentAcquisitionCOE@tiaa-cref.org. You understand that data will be retained in accordance with TIAA-CREF's records retention policies and also as may be required by applicable law.
